New skylight from Glas Trösch achieves Uw= 0.32 W/m2K

One of the greatest glass manufacturers in the world has appointed Fiberline as supplier of high-insulated profiles for their new skylight venture.

For several years Fiberline and the Swiss glass manufacturer Glas Trösch have collaborated on projects that involve the so-called composite glazing method, i.e. windows and facades, where GRP profiles are glued directly on the glass.

In that way you get a super insulating and self-supporting construction that can be built together in modules.

The latest addition is a skylight which pleases the eye with its most slim and minimalistic expression, and furthermore it supplies unique insulating properties. Actually the product has achieved an impressive Uw–value of just 0.32W/m2K, and from the German authorities it has therefore received the certificate for passive buildings.
