Application areas of fibreglass moulded gratings

All our GRP gratings are coated in a hard-wearing, anti-slip surface. This surface has no negative impact on the load-bearing capacity of the GRP gratings, which makes them particularly well-suited to industrial purposes and environments.

Because all our moulded gratings provide a non-slip walking surface, it makes them the optimal solution for railway stair treads and walkways, ensuring safe track access for the staff and during service. Safety along railways is naturally a high priority both concerning structures and staff. This means that companies installing solutions along the railway network must meet stringent documentation requirements that are easier to meet with our GRP.

Furthermore, the high chemical resistance and low maintenance required make the GRP moulded grating suitable for chemical plants, stair treads, oil rigs, flooring and walkway in aggressive environments.

Our moulded grating is easy to machine

Our moulded gratings are as easy to work with as wood, without the need for any special tools or hot work. They can therefore easily be adapted to existing piping systems and other arrangements at the installation site. Their low weight also ensures that they are easy to work with – often without the need for any special machinery or cranes.

Fiberline offers a broad selection of accessories for moulded fibreglass gratings. We offer a wide range of various clips, clamps and other fittings for the mounting of moulded gratings so that you can easily get everything you need in one place. Take a look here or order our product samles box containing three different moulded gratings.

Benefits of moulded gratings: high strength and low maintenance

Fiberline's moulded gratings combine a number of benefits; they are corrosion-resistant and a durable alternative to steel or plastic gratings, for example. Our GRP gratings also have an unrivalled weight-to-strength ratio, so they can be used to good advantage in places where there is a need for heavy loads.

Their low weight ensures that they are easy to handle during assembly. This also means that no special tools or hot work are needed. Other advantages of our GRP moulded gratings include:

  • High strength

  • No corrosion

  • Chemical resistance // Chemical resistant

  • Electrical insulation // Non conductive

  • Minimal maintenance

  • Sustainability

  • Thermally insulating

  • CE marking // high quality
