Fiberline Building Profiles and KRAFTON join forces in strategic merger

Fiberline Building Profiles and KRAFTON are merging. This strategic move is designed to strengthen both Fiberline and KRAFTON by integrating their expertise and resources. The merger will enable the company to offer an expanded range of pultruded structural profiles and planks and optimize delivery times to customers throughout Europe.

"We have taken this step to become stronger together, grow faster, and create greater success for the benefit of all involved," explains Peter Thorning, CEO of Fiberline.

Market and Strategy
With a robust business strategy, Fiberline's continued goal is to make FRP a widely recognized building material in Europe. The merger will further strengthen the company's position in the construction and civil engineering sector, where the company is already active in the markets of Benelux, DACH region, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the Nordics. The company is known for its customer-oriented approach and an efficient, digitalized ordering process, supported by competent customer service and technical advice.

Production and Products
The merger entails that Fiberline will handle production and supply chain functions from the Netherlands and Poland and offer a comprehensive selection of both planks and profiles made from fiberglass-based composites. These are delivered ready for assembly, including all necessary fittings.

"We remain committed to delivering standardised structural profiles that strengthen the construction sector," states Peter Thorning, after which Peet Bijl, founder of KRAFTON, adds: “The two companies are a very good fit and will strengthen our position in the market to the benefit of all our stakeholders. I am very excited about our upcoming professional partnership that will promote our shared goal of making fiberglass the preferred building material of the future.”

The merger results in the former owners of both Fiberline Building Profiles and Krafton now each owning 50% of Fiberline Building Profiles, with Krafton merged as a subsidiary entity.
