Fiberline plank MD (Medium Duty) is designed with an excellent price-performance ratio. The plank weighs only 6.58 kg/m, making it easy to handle on-site.

Like other products from Fiberline, plank MD is made of GFRP. This material has noteworthy properties such as a long, proven service life as well as high corrosion resistance and strength.

Plank MD comes with anti-skid surfaces rated R12 according to DIN 51130 or a slip resistance value (SRV) of 75,4 according to EN 13036-4. Plank MD is also available without anti-skid surface.

Description

Fiberline plank MD (Medium Duty) is designed with an excellent price-performance ratio. The plank weighs only 6.58 kg/m, making it easy to handle on-site. Like other products from Fiberline, plank MD is made of GFRP. This material has noteworthy properties such as a long, proven service life as well as high corrosion resistance and strength.

Application
Plank MD is typically used for applications like floor coverings at walkways were loads and spans are limited. Furthermore, the plank can easily be used as a facade cladding system in areas were high corrosion and chemical resistance is required.

EN 13706-3:2002

Our structural profiles and planks are certified according to the European standard EN 13706, which applies solely to pultruded profiles for structural purposes.

Fiberline's fiberglass profiles have a significantly higher thermal insulating capacity compared to steel and aluminum. The thermal conductivity coefficient of fiberglass is 0.3 W/mK, resulting in energy-efficient finished products compared to both aluminum, which is about 200 W/mK, and steel, which is about 50 W/mK.

Fiberline's products are manufactured energy-efficiently through pultrusion. The low weight relative to strength and long lifespan make them a cost- and energy-efficient alternative. After use, the profiles can be recycled, as they can easily be disassembled and reassembled into new constructions. Cradle to Cradle processes are under development.
