Fiberline's GRP profiles are low in weight. This makes them easier to work with and means that great weight savings can be achieved on the finished structure.
The same great strength as steel
Fibreglass has a lower weight than traditional materials - only 1%4 of the density if steel. There are also weight savings to be had as an alternative to other metals – our fibreglass weighs only two-thirds as much as aluminium.
Weight savings with fibreglass
The low weight of GRP profiles means that great weight savings can be achieved on the finished solution. This enables a more streamlined, lighter design that places less demand on its foundations. A lighter solution also reduces the installation costs on factors such as special machinery and cranes.
Easy manual assembly
The low weight of our profiles means that they are easier to handle, and a finished solution can often weigh so little that it can be handled manually. Fibreglass is therefore often the preferred choice for installation sites that are hard to access or where rapid construction is required.
