Fiberline's GRP profiles provide electrical insulation and minimise the complexity of earthing. This makes our profiles a future-proof choice where the costs of both installation and future inspections can be reduced considerably.
Our fibreglass profiles are widely used along railway lines where propulsion power is involved. They are used for access routes such as platforms, footbridges and stairs. They reduce the complexity of both earthing at the time of installation and of subsequent inspections of the electrical protection equipment.
Limited price disparity
Even though fibreglass is initially more expensive in direct comparison with materials such as stainless steel, there is often no great difference in terms of the project as a whole. When all the costs of personnel, machinery and installation time are included, price disparity is very limited or the total cost may even be lower. In addition, our customers benefit from future savings on the costs of maintenance.
